Inside out is an intergenerational project, working with teens to create a reminiscence garden at local care homes.
Most of the materials used are recycled and upcycled by the participants to create a stimulating multi sensory place for residents to enjoy.
As you can see from the photographs to the right, this particular group of explorer scouts completed their garden over two days and camped in the care home grounds over night. They used various items from bread bins, old cutlery and various pices of scrap wood to make their creations. They also cut back over grown parts of the garden as well as building two new garden benches. Residents were absoloutly thirilled with the outcome.
